Explain the difference between broadband, DIA, MPLS, and SD-WAN.

Broadband and DIA provide internet access, MPLS provides a carrier-managed private WAN, and SD-WAN intelligently uses one or more underlying connections.

They are not direct substitutes. Broadband is typically shared, lower-cost internet. DIA is dedicated business internet with committed bandwidth and an SLA. MPLS is private carrier transport between sites. SD-WAN is a software-defined overlay that can steer traffic across broadband, DIA, MPLS, fiber, or 5G paths.
